 A LETTER TO MY READERS:
"HEALING EVE" offers women a way out from the oppression of religious fundamentalism. Women have to confront head-on the accusations of sinfulness from Eve’s original transgression in the Garden of Eden. The recovering fundamentalist needs to reclaim an inner and outer integrity: making peace with both the programmed and reactive aspects of ourselves to become whole. My three stages for recovery:
- Acknowledging your Programming
- Healing your Reactivity
- Reclaiming your Wisdom
will help women reclaim their authenticity and have the freedom to create a more meaningful life. The happy ending is that having turned our backs on religious dogma, what we now embrace is not within walls: it is our personal styles of expressing our spiritual selves.
When I began my own journey I had a poem come to me. “Full Bloom” exemplifies my philosophy. We have to decide what part of our programming no longer works for us.
We have to stop just “reacting” to our programming,  and we have to make peace with our pasts. “Full Bloom” is the culmination of coming full circle to reclaim our authenticity.
